Returns & Exchanges

EXCHANGES & RETURNS

If, for any reason, you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may exchange or return eligible items per the guidelines below. You may ship exchanges and returns via your preferred shipping method. We recommend that you insure your package and keep a copy of the tracking number for your records.

Exchanges:
To qualify for an exchange, eligible items must be shipped back to Women’s Wig Shop and must be accompanied by a RMA Number. Eligible items may be exchanged only once and only one item per order, without incurring restocking fees. To receive a RMA Number and exchange your purchase, please follow the instructions below:

  1. Email customerservice@womenswigshop.com to request an exchange and RMA number within 3 business days of receiving your wig. Please describe the reason for the exchange.
  2. If the exchange request is accepted, you will be contacted via email with an RMA Number.
  3. Fill out the Exchange/Return Form, located on the back of your receipt.
  4. Write the provided RMA Number on the OUTSIDE of your package AND on the Exchange/Return Form.
  5. Put your completed Exchange/Return Form and the item you are returning INSIDE your package.
  6. Ship your package to the following address within 3 business days of receiving your RMA number:

  7. Once we have received and inspected your returned item for exchange, we will email you a one-time coupon code as a store credit. This coupon code will be for the amount of the returned item. The original shipping charges are not refundable.
  8. Simply go to Womenswigshop.com, shop for your replacement item and use the coupon code at checkout.

Failure to supply the RMA Number and/or completed form will incur an additional 10% fee.

Returns:
To qualify for a return, eligible items must be shipped back to Women’s Wig Shop and must be accompanied by a RMA Number. There are no restocking fees on first returned eligible Full Wig per order. Additional eligible wigs returned per order will still incur a 10% or $10 restocking fee (whichever is greater). Returned eligible items other than full wigs (i.e. hairpieces) will also incur a 10% or $10 restocking fee (whichever is greater). To receive a RMA Number and return your purchase, please follow the instructions below:

  1. Email customerservice@womenswigshop.com to request a RMA number and form within 3 business days of receiving your wig.
  2. You will be contacted via email with an RMA Number.
  3. Fill out the Exchange/Return Form, located on the back of your receipt.
  4. Write the provided RMA Number on the OUTSIDE of your package AND on the Exchange/Return Form.
  5. Put your completed Exchange/Return Form and the item you are returning INSIDE your package.
  6. Ship your package to the following address within 3 business days of receiving your RMA number:

  7. Once we have received your eligible item for return, we will inspect it to ensure it meets the returned item guidelines. When the return is approved, we will process the refund, less fees, to your original payment method.

Failure to supply the RMA Number and/or completed form will incur an additional 10% fee.


Eligible Items:

To be eligible for exchange or return, an item must be unaltered and in pristine, original condition, with all tags attachedand in the original packaging (undamaged). Items that have been brushed or combed out, have had product applied to them, have picked up odors, or show other signs of wear are not eligible to be returned or exchanged.

Ineligible Items:

Items under $50, items marked as "final sale", Discontinued/Close Out Items, Hats, Accessories (such as shampoo, conditioner, etc.)  CANNOT be exchanged or returned. These are FINAL SALE items. Items that are postmarked after the 3 business day return limit are also not eligible items.  If any of these items are returned, they will be donated to charity on your behalf, with no exchange or refund applied. Shipping is also an ineligible item and is not refundable.

Guidelines/Restrictions:

  • To try your wig, we supply a wig cap with all wigs shipped from our facilities. Please use the wig cap to keep the wig eligible for exchange or return.  
  • Please note that wigs and hair pieces shipped to smoking premises will pick up smoking odors. These items will not be eligible for exchanges or returns.
  • All exchanges and returns will be inspected. Those items not in pristine condition will be discarded with no exchange or refund applied, or returned to you at your expense.
  • All original packaging must accompany your exchange or return (including hair net, tags, tissue paper, inserts and must be placed or attached as it was when you received it) and be repackaged in the same manner as received. The wig product box should be inside a sturdy shipping box.
  • Restocking Fees are based on the Original Purchase Price and do not include any discount or coupon codes.
  • Discount/Special Offer items will have refunds adjusted accordingly.
  • Shipping costs are not refundable. We use flat rate shipping fees that are not the actual shipping costs. Actual shipping costs will be deducted from any refund or store credit on returned/exchanged items.
  • Returned (non-delivery) and refused shipments will incur fees in addition to restocking fees.
  • Should you require a receipt marked as “Cranial Prosthesis” for insurance purposes, please contact us by email at: customerservice@womenswigshop.com. Once we have issued the receipt, we will not be able to accept an exchange or return for that wig due to insurance regulations.
  • Refunds and Exchanges (coupon codes) are normally processed by us within 5 business days of receipt of your returned item that passes return inspection.
