Payment Options

All credit and debit card charges will appear as SP * WWS.

Note: When you place your order with a credit or debit card, only an authorization hold will be placed on your credit/debit card account. The charge will be completed (captured) when we ship your purchase.

If an item is on backorder, please see the section on backorders below.

If you pay using PayPal, funds will be deducted from your PayPal account at checkout.

Sales Tax

Women’s Wig Shop is required to collect sales tax on orders shipped to North Carolina. The appropriate charges will be added to your order total.

Discounts

Discounts and coupons are limited to one per order. Henry Margu and Tony of Beverly do not allow discounts on their products.

Cranial Prosthesis

Should you require a receipt marked as “Cranial Prosthesis” for insurance purposes, please contact us by email at: customerservice@womenswigshop.com. Once we have issued the receipt, we will not be able to accept an exchange or return for that wig due to insurance regulations.

Order Processing

Our office business days/hours are Monday through Friday, 10:00 am - 5:00 pm (EST), excluding holidays.

Our 2021 Holidays are: Jan 1, May 31, Jul 5, Sep 6, Nov 24-26, Dec 23-24, 31 and Jan 1 2022.

Order processing begins Noon EST of each business day. Orders received after Noon will begin processing the following business day. 

When we receive your order with a different ship to address and/or name, we will attempt to verify the ship to address and/or name prior to completing order processing. For the cardholder's protection, the company reserves the right to cancel the order or to ship the order to the billing address if ship to address and/or name cannot be verified.

Changes to orders can be made prior to start of processing without charges. Changes made after order processing begins may incur additional charges. Order cancellations made after order processing starts will incur restocking fees. For backorders, please see the section on backorders.

Products will be shipped from our stock or ordered from the supplier and shipped to our facilities when possible. Our Wig Consultants will inspect all products before shipping them to you. This adds an extra layer of quality to help ensure your order is complete, correct, and defect free. This applies to ground shipped orders and may apply to Express or Rush ship when possible. Express or Rush ship may be drop shipped based on supplier location and your destination to meet shipping timeframes.

Order processing averages 1 to 5 business days, based on supplier location.

Shipping & Handling

Continental US

  • Ground shipping averages 7 to 10 business days and costs: $7.95*
  • Express shipping averages 4 to 7 business days and costs: $14.95
  • Rush shipping averages 2 to 4 business days and costs: $39.95

*All shipping promotions apply to Ground shipments only. Free shipping promotion is available for orders over $75.00 within the continental US for the initial shipment only and not on exchanges.
 

Alaska & Hawaii

  • Ground shipping usually takes 10 business days and costs: $14.95

Additional Shipping Information

We normally ship UPS/USPS. On occasion, there are customers that require specific shipping criteria. Should you have specific shipping needs, please contact us by email at: customerservice@womenswigshop.com prior to placing your order, and let us know your needs. We will let you know by email if we can accommodate your needs and the associated price.

Orders over $500 may require signature confirmation.

Orders usually ship after 1 -5 days processing. As some suppliers are located further from our facilities, this can extend processing time slightly.

For the cardholder's protection, the company reserves the right to cancel or ship orders to the billing address if a differing shipping address and/or name cannot be verified. Please note: we cannot ship via a traceable method to any post office box. Delivery time cannot be guaranteed nor can the package be tracked. We encourage all deliveries be made to a physical address so packages can be tracked. Rush shipping is not available to post office boxes.

Shipping delays may occur due to holidays, natural disasters, or carrier delays. Please keep in mind holidays do not count as a business day and should be considered when calculating shipping times.

Incorrect billing information and/or shipping to an alternate address may cause shipping delays and additional shipping and handling charges, as information must be verified.

For any shipments returned to us due to a bad address, refusal upon delivery, or cancellation, there will be an additional shipping and handling charge of 10% of your order total. Shipping and handling charges are non refundable.

Ownership (Title) to items purchased through our website transfers to the purchaser upon our delivery of the items to the shipping carrier. This includes risk of loss. 

Should you not receive your package once the delivery notice has been received, contact the shipping carrier to initiate a package trace. 

Changes and Cancellation of Orders

Requests for changes to or cancellation of orders will be accepted up to the beginning of Order Processing.

Cancellation requests received after your order begins processing will be treated as a Return and will be subject to a 10% restocking fee.

Refused and undeliverable packages will also be treated as a Return and will be subject to a 10% restocking fee as well as shipping costs.

Backorders

Occasionally backorders occur when requests for a particular item exceed available inventory.

If a backorder occurs on your ordered product, we will contact you via email with the estimated arrival date of your product and you will be given the option to:

  1. Select a new item and/or color
  2. Request to be placed on a priority waiting list to receive the product once it becomes available for shipment (please note we will complete the charge to the payment method used with your original order). Cancelling an order after being placed on a priority wait list may incur additional fees.
  3. Cancel the original order and/or item. Cancelling the order at this stage will not incur any fees as order processing has not begun.

If we do not hear back from you and the backorder will be received by our facilities in 28 days or less, we will ship your item when it arrives and we will capture payment when your order ships.

If we do not hear back from you within 28 days and the backorder will be received by our facilities in 28 days or more, we will cancel your order.

We will promptly ship item(s) once they become available with the original Shipping & Handling method selected. If you wish to change your shipping method, please let us know when you respond to our email.

Women’s Wig Shop reserves the right to alter these policies without notice. 

Prices, specifications, and availability of products are subject to change without notice. Any typographical, photographic, or specification error in products or pricing is subject to correction. We will notify you of any corrections or changes and ask for your approval before we complete your order.
